This small round Konro grill is something special – the Japanese know it as the "Black Water Grill."
It gives you the opportunity to grill right at the table. The warm brown clay and unglazed texture contribute to the rustic aesthetic, which is exactly what makes this series so popular. The grill creates an atmosphere that is both refined and relaxed.
How to use it:
Start your coconut or binchotan charcoal in a chimney starter.
Remove the inner white bowl and fill the black outer Konro base with water.
Place the hot coals into the white bowl and put it back in place inside the base.
The water acts as an insulating layer, keeping the outer Konro cool and preventing cracks. It also catches excess oil, fat, and ash – making cleaning much easier.
The grill is ideal for two people. Don’t forget your skewers.
Reminder: Coconut and Binchotan charcoal can burn for over 3-4 hours. You can extinguish them quickly and efficiently in one of our cast iron pots, allowing reuse.
WARNING: Only grill in well-ventilated areas (preferably outdoors), as all types of charcoal produce carbon monoxide. Without proper ventilation, there is a serious risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
